Here is the PDF of the presentation I delivered to the Bar Camp crowd.
After a couple of years of wondering what the hell goes on at a Bar Camp I’ve decided to bite the bullet and go along to one to find out for myself.
So I’ll be in Oxford on the 5th of April, and as it’s a topic that’s so very close to my heart, I’ll be sponsoring the food for the event!!
Just got my ticket for one of the few User Experience conferences in the UK, UX London.
UX London is a unique three-day event combining inspirational talks with in-depth workshops presented by some of the industry’s biggest names.
Whether you’re beginning your career, or a seasoned professional, UX London is your chance to add core skills, absorb strategic thinking, and learn advanced techniques from pioneers in the field.
I can highly recommend this as the ultimate in desk calendars.
Not only do you get people wanting them you get a bit of light relief at the end of your long day sat at your desk!
I’ve been putting off upgrading wordpress on this blog for a while now so was a few versions behind the latest. Finally bit the bullet and installed version 2.7 beta 1. I’ll be commenting as I find new features/issues.
The admin area from the three minutes use I’ve had of it is a massive improvement.
Latest information about this build is here.
After much trial and tribulation trying to get tickets for this event, the night finally comes around and I find that the seats I’d acquired were pretty damned good.
Mr Wonder not being on stage 45 minutes late after the stated time was beginning to grate, but other people around me told me this was normal for him. Didn’t help me much though.
What a pile of steaming turds.
Really poor CGI, the bending bullets around corners, the ‘Loom of Fate’ writing peoples destiny, a guild of assassins who’s hearts beat at 400 bpm overdosing on adrenaline so they can ‘slow down time’.
James McAvoy constantly jumping from American to Scottish.
Morgan Freeman in one of the worst roles I’ve ever seen him in. Bad choice Morgan.
The only redeeming factor of this film is Angelina.
